I love this cute place they serve fabulous food and are so friendly. Some really great options on the menu and also a wonderful bakery. I definitely recommend coming here.
We came a few minutes before they opened and there was a line up at the door. It felt very chaotic as they opened and the line up kept growing. We were lucky to get a table.
I got the poblano frittata and it was one of the best breakfast dishes I’ve ever had. All ingredients worked so well together. The portion was huge (left with lots of leftovers). The frittata had layers of eggs, peppers and potatoes and I could taste some goat cheese. The giant beans on the side went well with the dish. Their Americano was smooth and the rice crispy dessert was delicious.
I can see why the line up never ended. This place is amazing! Cash, check or Venmo only.
A delicious experience in a special place. Tweets sourced ingredients seasonally and locally when possible and without the pretense. I couldn’t ask for a more comforting meal in a cozy space on a moody Sunday afternoon.
Every time I go in to Tweets, the food sends me to heaven on earth (seriously, they know what they're doing!) It's clear the staff love what they do and it shows in their creations. I love going to this small town eatery for a vibrant culture and the best eats. As a born and raised Skagit local, I love having this place in my community.
First time here after a few friends highly recommended it. Open Friday, Saturday and Sunday - cash/check only. What a perfect place to have lunch when it was snowing, windy and 30 degrees outside and as you can see, inside is warm and inviting. Order first at the counter and your amazing meal will arrive in about 15 minutes. There’s usually about 8 entrees on the menu and it took me some time to choose. I chose the country hash on a ciabatta with pickled cabbage and a sunny side up egg on the top. There were a few more ingredients that complemented the dish, but for the life of me, I’m unable to remember them all. Tons of homemade desserts along with espresso and coffee combo drinks to go or to stay. I’d stay and sit at a corner table and people watch. When the sun and warmth return to the valley, the entire store opens up with a huge garage door and there’s a south-facing patio to lounge in the sun. I heard the wait can be substantial in the summer, so plan ahead. Parking may be an issue, but if you don’t mind walking a few country blocks, you’ll be fine. Check out this gem in the very small town in Edison. You’ll be glad you did.
Very cool place in a cool town.
Don’t miss out on a coffee, freshly baked treat, or something savory.
I ended up getting an iced latte and slice of the peach pie (it was gone before I could take a picture). DELICIOUS.
There is patio seating in the back and some in the main area.
Staff was friendly.
Lovely cafe in Edison! We ordered Kimchi Pork Belly and Pork Salsa Verde. Both are tasty! Will come back again for sure.
The place is especially recommended to those who visits Skagit Tulips festival.
Only accept cash or check. No credit card.
This restaurant is my ideal place for having farm style brunch. This is also a great start for skagit valley food trail! The Town of Edison is a small hidden gem for food. But be aware, you must have cash or check to purchase. Many small shops in this town only accept cash or check. The food in Tweets Cafe is so freash and well made. And the services are friendly. The price is less cost than those fancy restaurants in bigger towns.
